PERSONAL CARE AIDE
Many individuals and families in our community need assistance with day-to-day activities. Personal Care Aides are specially trained individuals who provide services to these families. Service provision through PCAs and other qualified providers is coordinated through the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) .

SEXUAL TRAUMA SERVICES ADVOCATE
Interested in working directly with survivors of sexual assault? Advocates for Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands accompany survivors of sexual assault to local hospitals and answer calls on the crisis hotline. Learn more about how you can become an advocate for STSM by following the link below to their website.
GENETICS CAREERS INFORMATION
There are a variety of online resources about careers in genetics. Organizations such as the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC), American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) and National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) are great places to start your search for the perfect career.
